Adrion Boyd brings elite JUCO return-man burst to WKU’s backfield
Boyd enters Western Kentucky as a **small-but-explosive** junior back whose calling card is game-breaking speed, highlighted by 697 kick-return yards on 16 returns in 2024 at Mt. San Antonio College and first-team SCFA returner honors. He also adds useful depth as a runner and receiver, but the real separator is his ability to flip field position and stress defenses with quickness and elusiveness. At 5-7, 176, he fits best as a change-of-pace weapon and special-teams spark plug rather than a feature back.
