Southern Illinois DE Kevin Holmes brings proven backfield disruption and a high-motor edge
Kevin Holmes is worth watching because his track record points to a disruptive, physical edge defender: Southern Illinois lists him as a defensive end, and his earlier production included 87 tackles, 6 sacks, and 3 forced fumbles in a senior season that earned second-team all-region honors. That profile suggests a player who can affect plays beyond the box score with effort, toughness, and turnover creation—traits coaches value in a rotation or developmental starter. The main fit question is whether he can translate that same downhill production to the current level consistently.
