Tyron Staples brings proven tackling production and defensive toughness to Liberty
Tyron Staples is best known as a high-effort, physical defender with a strong local pedigree from Bedford, Virginia, and Liberty’s roster notes show he was productive in high school with 74 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, and two forced fumbles as a sophomore. His profile suggests a downhill, disruptive style that fits teams valuing toughness, pursuit, and run support over flash. I’d care about him if you want a linebacker-type defender who can impact the game with consistency and intensity rather than headline-grabbing stats.
