Daniel Scott gives Mississippi Valley State a steady left-right? no—just steady mound value
In the 2026 season, Mississippi Valley State freshman pitcher Daniel Scott has already flashed real bullpen-to-starter value, including a first career win on March 11 and a three-inning, one-run relief outing on April 26. His profile says “plug-and-play arm”: he’s shown the ability to throw strikes, work multiple innings, and escape traffic without melting down, even in rough team results. At 6-foot-1, the freshman from Tarpon Springs HS looks like a useful fit for a staff needing durability and composure rather than flash—think steady innings, not fireworks.
