Sidney Holmes brings Texas toughness and boundary DB upside to Montana State
Sidney Holmes is a 5-foot-11, 190-pound freshman defensive back from Beaumont High in Texas, where he earned first-team all-district honors after a 78-tackle senior season with 4 tackles for loss. Montana State’s roster lists him as a DB, and his profile suggests a physical, ready-to-hit defender with enough size to compete immediately on the edge. The appeal here is his run support and competitive profile: he looks like a clean fit for a Bobcats secondary that values toughness, versatility, and guys who play like every snap is a tax audit.
