Devin Butts brings perimeter shooting and veteran scoring touch to NCCU
In the 2022-23 season, Devin Butts gave North Carolina Central a useful floor-spacer, averaging 5.4 points while hitting 34.8% from three in 17 appearances; earlier stops at Mississippi State and Louisiana showed he could contribute in a variety of roles. His calling card is shot-making from the perimeter, which makes him valuable if your team needs spacing and a low-drama, experience-based fit rather than high-usage creation. One important caveat: Butts later passed away in 2023, so this is a retrospective profile, not a current player evaluation.
