UNC linebacker with a build-the-floor, raise-the-ceiling profile
Ebele Okakpu looks like a developmental linebacker prospect for North Carolina, but reliable public reporting on his 2026 on-field production is limited, so the appeal right now is more about upside than stat-sheet juice. The differentiators to watch are linebacker traits that usually matter most in Chapel Hill: physicality, pursuit speed, and whether he can handle run support and coverage responsibilities in space. If UNC is selling a future rotational piece who can grow into special teams value and then expand from there, that’s the kind of fit that makes sense.
