Chase King brings veteran edge to Eastern Washington’s linebacker room
Chase King is listed on Eastern Washington’s 2026 football roster as a linebacker, and the clearest takeaway is that he fits the mold of a physical, program-ready defender rather than a flashy stat-chaser.[3][7] His appeal is the kind coaches love: toughness, positional flexibility, and the ability to strengthen a defense that allowed 132.0 rushing yards per game and ranked 42nd nationally in 2026 team stats.[12] If you want a linebacker who can add grit, depth, and reliable edge-setting, he looks like a sensible fit.
