Ellis Bennett brings linebacker size and depth-value upside to Jacksonville State
Ellis Bennett is a 6-foot, 215-pound junior linebacker at Jacksonville State, and his profile suggests a classic depth-and-development fit rather than a stat-headline star right now.[6] The main reason to care is his position-value and frame: linebackers with college-ready size can become useful special-teams, rotational, or matchup pieces if they show consistency in run fits, tackling reliability, and physicality. Publicly available sources do not show enough recent production or detailed scouting notes to confidently grade his on-field impact, so the safest read is that he remains an upside-based roster piece to monitor rather than a proven impact defender.[6]
