Elijah Blades brings length, press-man savvy, and tackle toughness to Buffalo’s secondary
Blades stands out as a long, physical corner who can disrupt routes at the line and finish plays with confidence; in his 2022 Buffalo season, he appeared in eight games with three starts, posting 27 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and four pass breakups. Recruits and scouting reports have praised his press coverage and willingness to tackle, which makes him more than just a coverage-only DB. The fit question is simple: if you want an experienced, aggressive corner with NFL-style traits and a competitive edge, he makes sense.
