Carson Hunter brings veteran Tigers grit and special-teams DNA
Carson Hunter’s profile is more about dependable linebacker instincts than flash: he’s listed as a Memphis linebacker and has prior Memphis experience as a four-year player who also contributed on special teams, with coaching-note recognition for helping the program reach AP Top 25 rankings and beat ranked opponents in recent seasons[1][2]. The differentiator here is toughness, versatility, and a team-first edge—exactly the kind of glue guy who can raise the floor of a defense and fit a culture that values discipline, depth, and assignment soundness[2].
