Smart, hometown guard with steady poise for Buena Vista
Max DeVries is a Buena Vista guard whose appeal starts with résumé and feel: he’s a hometown product, a four-year varsity basketball letterwinner in high school, and a multi-time all-conference performer with school-record scoring and three-point production. In college, he’s been used sparingly so far, but his role profile suggests a guard who brings composure, shooting pedigree, and buy-in to a program culture that values growth and toughness. If you want a low-drama, high-upside guard who knows how to compete and fits a team-first environment, he’s worth a look.
