Former Tar Heel tackle with size and toughness, but not a current UNC impact player
Greg Woofter was a 6-foot-5 to 6-foot-6, 250- to 270-pound offensive tackle recruit at North Carolina who earned early playing time and was praised for his effort in 2000-01, including sealing blocks in key moments, but available UNC records show he transferred after the spring 2002 semester. In other words: the profile says “big-bodied, hard-nosed line prospect,” not “current Tar Heel starter,” so he’s not a fit if you’re evaluating today’s UNC roster.
