Noah Smith brings versatile, high-leverage production to Cal's WR room
Noah Smith is an intriguing Cal wideout because he offers more than routine receiver production: his recent Sam Houston profile shows a true all-purpose weapon who contributed as a receiver, runner, and even passer in 2024, which suggests creativity and football IQ beyond the box score[1][7][15]. In 2024, he posted 40 catches for 313 yards at Sam Houston, and his ability to create utility touches can make him a fit for offenses that value motion, misdirection, and adaptable playmakers[1][7].
