UNC’s steady rookie leg: Guytano Bartolomeo brings consistency, not hype
In the 2025 season, Guytano Bartolomeo arrived at North Carolina as a freshman kicker with a reputation for reliability more than flash: he went 146-of-148 on extra points and 11-of-16 on field goals in high school, with a long of 41 yards, plus 60 career kickoff touchbacks. He was described as one of New Jersey’s most consistent special teamers and helped Bergen Catholic stay ranked No. 1 in the state, which hints at poise under pressure. If you want a dependable, low-drama specialist with proven accuracy, he’s your guy.
