Louisiana-Monroe's Reliable Mid-2000s Receiving Back
Joey Trappey, a versatile RB/TE for the ULM Warhawks in the mid-2000s, stood out as a reliable pass-catching threat, hauling in 7 receptions for 64 yards against Middle Tennessee in 2005 and a clutch 23-yard TD grab versus Arkansas in 2018 as a freshman standout; his 6-1 frame and sure hands made him a chain-moving differentiator in the Sun Belt, earning All-Louisiana First Team honors as a junior. Tough, instinctive receiver with slot versatility—perfect fit for teams needing a multi-dimensional back who elevates third-down plays.
