veteran FAU linebacker with a blue-collar special-teams edge
Kris Harris is a seasoned Florida Atlantic linebacker whose value has long come from reliability, toughness, and playing multiple roles, not gaudy box-score numbers. In the 2018 season, he saw special-teams action against Oklahoma and Air Force, and his earlier college production showed steady tackling and assignment-sound play rather than splashy stat lines. He also arrived with a defensive résumé from Godby High School featuring 71 tackles, nine sacks, three forced fumbles, and a captain’s pedigree, which hints at effort, leadership, and physicality. If you want a hard-nosed, coachable defender who’ll do the dirty work, Harris fits the bill.
