Built Like a Workhorse, Runs Like One Too
In the 2011 season, Chris Polk was Washington’s power engine, coming off 1,415 rushing yards and 9 touchdowns in 2010 and ranking among the Huskies’ all-time leading rushers with a career 4,049 rushing yards and 26 rushing TDs. His calling card was tough, downhill running with enough burst to break longer gains, plus steady hands as a receiver; the knock was durability, with multiple shoulder and knee issues that caused missed time. If you want a physical RB who can carry volume and close games, Polk fit the bill.
