Southern DB Jamar Mitchell brings reliable depth and defensive versatility
Jamar Mitchell is listed as a defensive back for Southern, but publicly available stat detail is limited, so the clearest read is that he profiles as a depth-and-role player rather than a headline-grabber. His best fit is a team that values steady coverage ability, special-teams utility, and positional flexibility; however, there are not enough verified 2025–26 game stats in the available sources to make a stronger performance claim. If you are evaluating fit, the key question is whether your staff wants a dependable DB room piece who can absorb coaching and contribute in multiple phases.
