Tylen Small brings veteran toughness and versatile secondary value to South Dakota State
Tylen Small is a physical, experienced defensive back with a reputation for covering well, bringing energy, and pushing himself on and off the field. Earlier reports highlighted his physical presence in the secondary and his ability to handle man coverage, plus leadership traits that coaches trusted in a vocal role. The big question is usage: he looks like a fit for a defense that values toughness, accountability, and versatility in the back end. If you want a steady, mature defender with edge, Small checks a lot of boxes.
