Davidson DB Mordecai Scott brings veteran depth and two-way speed
Mordecai Scott is listed as a defensive back for Davidson and also appears on the Wildcats’ track roster as a sprints athlete, which hints at the kind of straight-line speed and athletic profile that can translate nicely in coverage and on special teams[1][4]. Davidson’s roster and archived football pages list him at 6-foot-0 and 175-190 pounds across his career, suggesting a lean, rangy defender with enough size to play physical but enough track background to stay quick[2][3]. The clearest value here: versatile, multi-sport athleticism with veteran familiarity in the program, though there isn’t enough recent stat volume publicly surfaced here to call him a splashy box-score star[1][2].
