Scott Russell brings veteran EMU linebacker grit and proven MAC pedigree
In the 2026 season, Scott Russell is listed as a senior linebacker at Eastern Michigan, a veteran presence who has already earned All-MAC recognition and a place on EMU’s 2000s All-Decade Team. He’s the kind of inside linebacker who wins with instincts, toughness, and consistency rather than flash—an old-school tone-setter who can help stabilize a defense. Why care? Because teams looking for reliable, high-football-IQ linebacker play should value his leadership, physicality, and history of producing at a conference level.
