Bettiol is a high-floor forward who already proved he can score efficiently, rebound, and defend at a winning level: in 2025-26 he led UMass in scoring (18.1) and rebounding (7.8) while shooting 61.1% from the field, and he finished with seven double-doubles and 17 straight double-figure games. [12] He fits best as a polished interior option who plays through contact, finishes efficiently, and gives a roster toughness and reliability more than flash; the one thing to note is that he is not a perimeter-oriented creator, so the value is in his consistency, physicality, and production near the rim.
