Big, Skilled Stretch Forward Who Brings Scoring Punch and Versatility
Funk is a **6-foot-8 stretch forward** whose Utah State run showed real value: in the 2022-23 season, he averaged **13.4 points**, **5.5 rebounds**, and **1.7 assists** in 34 games while shooting **45.1%** from the field, and his profile suggests a modern frontcourt fit because he can score inside, space the floor, and handle enough playmaking to keep defenses honest. He also proved durable enough to bounce back after an earlier Saint Joseph’s hand injury, which matters for teams looking for a mature, experienced, low-drama veteran who can plug into multiple roles.
