Explosive ODU back with big-play juice, but role and availability have been uneven
In the 2021 season, Elijah Davis was an efficient, big-play runner for Old Dominion, finishing with 562 rushing yards and 6 touchdowns on 105 carries, plus a 4.7-yard average and a long of 61 yards. He stood out for burst through the hole, run-after-contact pop, and the ability to flip field position with chunk gains. The caution flag: his college career included a 2022 team-rule suspension, so fit depends on whether a staff values upside, discipline, and depth-chart flexibility over a cleaner, steadier profile.
