Dylan Lina gives Long Beach State a real middle-of-the-order punch
In the 2026 season, Dylan Lina has been a power-first infielder for Long Beach State, slugging 12 home runs with a .241 average and a .840 OPS while driving in 46 runs, which tells you the bat plays even when the average wobbles. He’s a senior, 6-foot, 215 pounds, and the fit is obvious: physical, right-handed power, run-producing presence, and the kind of lineup gravity that changes how pitchers attack the Dirtbags. The caveat is health—his 2025 season was cut short by injury after 22 games, so durability is the main question mark.
