Portland State DE Cole Smith: rotational edge presence with toughness and upside
Cole Smith is a Portland State defensive end whose value is more about **reliability, edge physicality, and assignment discipline** than flashy stat lines; ESPN lists him on the Vikings’ roster at DE, but the available results do not provide recent season production or detailed scouting notes, so his current impact is best framed as a depth/role defender rather than a proven stat leader.[5][6] If your team wants a hard-nosed, development-friendly edge player who can fit into a system that rewards effort and fundamentals, Smith is worth a look.
