Colorado State’s Do-Everything Forward with Old-School Grit
In the 2014-15 season, J.J. Avila was the Rams’ most versatile engine, leading CSU in points, rebounds, and assists in multiple games while ranking among the Mountain West’s leaders in scoring, rebounding, assists, field-goal percentage, and steals[12]. He brings a tough, physical inside game, crafty scoring off the dribble, and a high-motor presence that shows up in winning plays, not just box-score filler[2][12]. If your team wants a forward who can carry usage, make others better, and defend with edge, Avila fits the bill—witty nickname optional, production guaranteed[2][12].
