Zamore Zigler brings cornerback versatility and special-teams value to San Jose State
Zamore Zigler is best known as a versatile, team-first defender who made the rare switch from running back to cornerback and still kept finding ways to help San Jose State. In his 2018 season, he appeared in 11 games, started four times, recorded 25 tackles and an interception, and also averaged 19.4 yards on kickoff returns, which screams “useful football player” in the best way. He’s the kind of fit coaches like because he brings toughness, experience, and special-teams juice, plus the backstory and work ethic that suggest a high-IQ, high-commitment presence.
