veteran Syracuse tight end with two-way toughness and reliable hands
Mike Owen is a seasoned Syracuse tight end who brings a linebacker’s edge to the position — he originally came to Syracuse as a defensive player before moving to tight end, and he’s been valued for his toughness, versatility, and team-first feel. In his Syracuse career, he has shown he can make chain-moving catches and even had a 2008 breakout with 19 receptions for 175 yards, plus he’s been trusted in captain-type leadership roles. If you want a TE who plays with grit, understands leverage, and can do the unglamorous work, Owen fits the mold.
