Queens Royals RHP Matthew Eagen Shows Strikeout Upside Despite Inconsistent ERA
Queens University right‑hander Matthew Eagen is a 6'2", 190‑lb sophomore with a live arm and swing‑and‑miss potential, posting 32 strikeouts in 25.0 innings in 2026 despite a 5.29 ERA and 9.36 career ERA that point to command and consistency issues rather than raw stuff. Scouts note his high‑intensity delivery and competitive demeanor, and his profile on 64 Analytics and Perfect Game suggests he’s a developmental arm who could thrive in a program that prioritizes pitcher development, mechanical refinement, and mental‑toughness coaching.
