Elon Phoenix Guard with Proven Leadership and Defensive Firepower
Emily Sasser, Elon's #4 guard from Cary, NC, showcased elite all-around skills in high school as a junior, leading her team with 13.0 points, 5.0 assists, 5.0 steals, and 3.0 blocks per game while earning first-team all-conference honors and guiding her squad to a third-place finish—highlighting her rare blend of scoring punch, playmaking vision, lockdown perimeter defense, and rim protection that sets her apart. After a quiet freshman college season (1.0 PPG in limited 2024-25 action), her high-motor intensity and versatility make her a hidden gem for teams seeking a gritty, multi-tool guard ready to explode off the bench.
