Austin Lewis brings veteran depth and steady tackling to Butler’s linebacker room
Austin Lewis is a proven Butler linebacker with real game experience, highlighted by 110 career tackles and 1 forced fumble in the most complete stat line available from his Butler/ESPN profile; in Butler’s 2018 statistics, he logged 11 games and 9 solo tackles, showing he’s been trusted on the field rather than just carried on the roster. The differentiator is dependable, no-drama linebacker play: he projects as a smart, physical depth piece who can fit a team that values discipline, effort, and familiarity with the system more than splashy highlights.
