Chene Cooper Brings Veteran Playmaking and Defensive Activity to Eastern Washington
Chene Cooper stands out as a steady two-way guard whose value goes beyond scoring: in the 2011-12 season, she led Eastern Washington in steals (57) and ranked second in assists (89), showing both disruption and creation from the backcourt. Her strong week-to-week production included 15.5 points, 8.5 assists and 5.0 rebounds on 47% shooting, a profile that suggests high feel, composure, and multi-category impact. For a team, that means a guard who can organize offense, pressure the ball, and contribute with effort and toughness rather than flashy one-dimensional production.
