Sydney Evans brings early impact power and rookie-recognition upside for Hampton
Sydney Evans has already carved out a meaningful role at Hampton, starting 23 of 29 games mainly at third base and earning CAA Rookie of the Week honors, which signals she can handle pressure and contribute quickly as a freshman. Her profile suggests a right-handed infielder with real pop—she posted 2 home runs and 11 RBIs in 2026—while her consistent playing time points to trust from the coaching staff and a competitive edge. For a team seeking an infield bat with upside, she looks like a strong fit and a player worth watching as her game matures.[1][6]
