Antonio Perrotta brings left-handed pop and depth to UVA’s first-base mix
In the 2026 season, Antonio Perrotta appeared in 44 games and made 32 starts, batting .266 with six doubles, five home runs and 24 RBIs for Virginia, which points to a useful power bat rather than a pure table-setter. He’s a 6-foot-4, 230-pound left-handed hitter who can play 1B/OF, and his profile suggests real pull-side thump with enough versatility to fit in multiple lineup spots. He also showed clutch flashes, including a season-high three-hit game in the ACC Tournament and a three-RBI night against Richmond, making him a solid fit for a team wanting physicality and bench-to-starter upside.
