Cannon Lewis brings hometown edge and downhill tackling to Marshall’s linebacker room
Lewis is a 6-foot-2, 226-pound redshirt sophomore who returns home to Marshall after transferring from NC State, where he appeared in four games in 2024 and logged two tackles with one tackle for loss; his calling card is the physical, disruptive profile he showed at Cabell Midland, where he piled up 181 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, four sacks, and three fumble recoveries as a senior.
