Kansas State LB David Smith: Physical, proven tackler with all-state pedigree
David Smith brings a clear linebacker identity: he was a unanimous first-team all-state selection as a senior, posted 93 tackles, and helped his team reach the state finals, which points to a player who already knows how to impact winning at a high level.[2] The main reason to care is his tackling volume and competitive resume, while the key differentiator is that he arrives with proven production rather than just upside; I do not have reliable current college-season stats in the provided sources, so his present Kansas State fit should be judged by how quickly that high-motor, play-finishing style translates to the Wildcats’ defense.[2][3]
