NC A&T's Dynamic Slot WR with Elite Return Speed
In the 2025 season, North Carolina A&T WR Amonte Jones exploded for 28 receptions, 408 yards, and 1 TD (14.6 avg), building on his 2022 return prowess where he ranked 7th in Big South kickoff return yards (143 yds on 8 returns). A 5-10 speedster from Oscar Smith's back-to-back state champs, he's quick as a 'hiccup' per coach Nate Poole, overcame an early injury to shine in the slot, and doubles as a game-changing returner—perfect fit for teams needing explosive playmakers who flip field position and stretch defenses.
