Reliable Aussie leg, steady production, and academic backbone for Purdue
In the 2023 season, Jack Ansell was Purdue’s experienced punter, appearing in 38 career games and starting 26 times while averaging 40.4 yards on 158 punts, both of which rank eighth in program history. He also set a career high with 19 punts inside the 20 in 2023, which is the kind of hidden-field-position value coaches love. Add in two Academic All-Big Ten honors and a pro-style Australian punting background, and you get a polished, composed specialist who brings consistency, placement, and maturity.
