Marist DL Richard Van Cleft brings experienced, disruptive depth up front
Richard Van Cleft is a veteran Marist defensive lineman whose value comes from steady, physical play and proven production at nose tackle: in the 2014 season he logged 17 tackles, three tackles for loss and a half-sack, then in 2015 added four tackles and a forced fumble across 10 games.[2] Listed at 6'3", 260 pounds in his later Marist seasons, he profiles as a durable interior presence who can hold gaps, absorb contact and create occasional splash plays rather than pile up gaudy stats.[2]
