Ricky Lavender brings versatile secondary upside to San Jose State
Ricky Lavender is a defensive back to watch because his value goes beyond box-score stats: a safety’s real impact is often in coverage range, communication, and run support, and Lavender profiles as the kind of player whose fit depends on how well he can process the game and close space quickly for San Jose State. I could not verify reliable, current season-specific performance or rankings from the available sources, so this is a role-based evaluation rather than a stat-backed scouting report.
