Veteran DB Bringing Depth and Experience to Rhode Island Rams
Romello Edwards, a 6-0, 187-pound redshirt senior from Philadelphia, appeared in 10 games for the Rhode Island Rams in the 2023 season as a graduate student, logging 3 total tackles (per Fox Sports game log) while contributing on defense and special teams without interceptions or sacks. Transferring from Tennessee where he saw limited action in 7 career games, Edwards offers FCS-level reliability, physicality at corner/slot, and two years of remaining eligibility—ideal for teams seeking a gritty, versatile DB with portal savvy and no notable injury history to bolster secondary depth.
