developmental DL with a fresh chance at Southeastern Louisiana
Marquel Combs is a defensive lineman at Southeastern Louisiana whose current on-field statistical profile is limited in the available records, but the key takeaway is that he arrives as a transfer looking for a reset after not seeing game action at Kansas. That makes him more of a projection than a proven production piece: a player worth watching for athletic upside, coachability, and how quickly he can translate practice traits into snaps. If your team needs immediate, bankable pass-rush numbers, he is not that yet; if you want a depth DL with upside and a clean developmental runway, he is a reasonable fit.
