a proven ball-hawking DB with a hitter’s edge
In the 2015 season, Guy Stallworth was a high-impact Grambling State defensive back, posting 102 tackles and 3 interceptions while earning All-SWAC First Team honors and Black College All-American recognition[9][12]. In the 2016 season, he stayed on the league radar with first-team All-SWAC honors and was part of a Tigers defense that valued aggressive, run-filling secondary play[5][9]. The differentiator here is the blend of size (6-foot-3), tackling reliability, and ball skills; reports also describe him as a hard hitter with great hands, which is exactly the kind of tone-setter a defense loves[1][13].
