No Current Ball State TE Bryan Smith Found – Search Reveals Unrelated NFL Vet
Extensive review of reliable sources like ESPN, NFL.com, and McNeese State athletics uncovers no active Bryan Smith as a tight end for the Ball State Cardinals in recent seasons (2023-2025); instead, results point to a retired NFL linebacker (drafted 2008 by Eagles, played for Jaguars) from McNeese State with a stellar college defensive resume as a first-team All-American finalist for the Buck Buchanan Award in 2007 – if this is your guy, he's long graduated to pro ball with minimal NFL impact, not a current college prospect worth scouting.
