steady special-teams snapper with upside in the trenches
Maurice Riley is listed by Hampton as a long snapper, a role that usually rewards consistency, discipline, and zero-drama execution—the kind of “if you notice him, something went wrong” player every good special teams unit loves. Hampton’s publicly available roster pages show Riley as a senior-era Pirates LS and note his experience on special teams, with earlier game logs crediting him for action in multiple games and tackles in 2008-09. For a roster spot or depth role, he looks like a dependable fit if your team values reliability, toughness, and clean operation over highlight-reel noise.
