Morbitzer is a young Eastern Michigan defensive lineman whose appeal is rooted in his physicality and production history: in high school he posted 98 tackles, 4.0 TFLs, 4.0 sacks, a forced fumble and two pass breakups in his senior season, then earned an All-Star Game nod and team defensive MVP honors.[5][7] At EMU, he saw limited game action as a freshman, appearing in one game and recording one tackle, so his current value is more about development upside than established college production.[5][1] He looks like a fit for a staff that prizes effort, depth, and a player with a strong baseline of run-stopping traits and competitive edge.[5][7]
