Jamaal Samuel brings size, rim protection, and efficient finishing to ULM
Jamaal Samuel is a 6-9 forward who has been a steady inside presence for ULM, with a 2015-16 season line of 9.4 points and 4.6 rebounds per game while starting all 34 games, plus 62 career blocks that ranked 13th in school history at the time. He projects as a tough, high-motor frontcourt piece: long enough to alter shots, reliable enough to rebound his area, and productive without needing a volume-heavy role. His game fits a team that wants a physical, experienced forward who can anchor possessions, finish efficiently, and do the dirty work with veteran consistency.
