Mercer’s old-school rim protector with blue-collar roots
Germani Abram is a former Mercer women’s center who brought size, paint presence, and real rebounding chops to the Bears in the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons; as a freshman she appeared in five games, and Mercer’s archive says she finished high school with 1,000+ rebounds and 500 blocks, a pretty loud clue about her interior impact. She’s not a volume scorer, but her value profile screams toughness, shot deterrence, and physicality—exactly the kind of role fit a coach loves when needing a dependable low-post anchor.
